Blackboard Learn Release 9.0 is the learning management system (LMS) now in use at CCRI. It is replacing an older LMS called WebCT (Web Course Tools). A learning management system sets up a special website on the college's computers for a particular course. It may be used for an online course, a hybrid course, or as a supplement for an on-campus course (web-enhanced). The course website can be used for storing of documents, videos, audio files, and PowerPoint files. It can also be used for online testing and for the submission of written assignments.
